Francis D'SouzaFrancis D'Souza is a TV personality on Citytv in Toronto and is a news anchor for CityNews.  Prior to joining Citytv, Francis hosted "Plugged In!" on Rogers Television. He was a production assistant with the CBC, a videographer at Global News Toronto and most recently anchored the CTV 11:30pm news in Northern Ontario.

Francis has covered the news of Christina's disappearance from the beginning and has since become a friend of the family, having supported previous efforts to raise funds for Christina’s search. We greatly appreciate his support and look forward to having him host the Gala.

George ChuvaloGeorge Chuvalo is the All-Time Greatest Canadian Heavyweight Champion. As a pro, George is best known for his two fights against Muhammad Ali. George also fought Joe Frazier and George Foreman who were unable to knock him down.  George defeated many notable fighters such as Jerry Quarry, Doug Jones Howard King, Bob Cleroux, Yvon Durelle, Willi Besmanoff, Mike DeJohn, Cleveland Williams, and Manuel Ramos. He was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1990 and the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997. George was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 1998 and was awarded a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in 2005. George has had many incredible successes, but has also suffered many personal tragedies as he lost 3 sons and a wife as a result of substance abuse. He understands the pain Christina’s family is going through and after learning about Christina’s disappearance, kindly offered his help to the family. We are very privileged to have George support our efforts to find Christina and look forward to having him as our featured speaker at the Gala.

David FrancisDavid Francis is a tremendous advocate and friend of Christina’s family. David and his organization, the Jon Francis Foundation (JFF), have provided a tremendous amount of support, guidance, and resources to the Find Christina Calayca Group from the very beginning. David understands the loss that Christina’s family is suffering and the need to search for her, having lost his son in a mountain climbing accident in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. David and his family funded a massive search for Jon on the mountain and the surrounding forests that cost $60,000 and took over a year to find Jon’s remains. We are very honoured to have David come back to Toronto to speak about his son, the motivation to search the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho for 12 months for his son, and his vision for JFF.

Andrew AustinAndrew Austin has toured with legendary singer/songwriter Andy Kim and has worked and shared the stage with Canadian icons and contemporaries such as Ron Sexsmith, Ed Robertson and Steve Page (Barenaked Ladies), Danny Michel, Andy Stochansky, Blair Packham, Greg Neufeld, and Donovan Woods. In 2007 Andrew made a last second decision to audition for Canadian Idol, and was selected as a member of the Top 22. In the week of the top 18 Andrew became the first performer to ever play an instrument in a solo performance on Canadian Idol. Now back to real life, Andrew released his first solo EP JUST THE WAY I FEEL, which is available at stores in the GTA, online at, and on iTunes. Andrew has been a great supporter of the effort to find Christina and we are fortunate to have him back to share his music.
